As an Aberlink CMM is a heavy, stationary measuring device, i.e., they cannot be posted to a ISO17025 accredited laboratory for calibration, the ISO17025 standard cannot apply to them. In our experience, once Aberlink customers discuss this with their customers, they are happy to accept the calibration process/procedure recommended by Aberlink, the CMM OEM. All verification artefacts used during the Aberlink calibration process are traceable to a UKAS standard, and a copy of the UKAS calibration certificates for the calibration artefacts are available upon request. If you have any questions concerning this, or any other aspect of our CMM service and calibration, please contact us via service@aberlink.co.uk
